Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Bangladesh (for Indian Students)
- Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Age Requirement:
- Must be at least 17 years old by 31st December of the admission year.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as main subjects.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCB (for top colleges); some accept 50%–55%.
- Must have passed Class 10 and 12 in the same year span without gaps or multiple attempts.
- Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with:
- NEET Qualification:
- NEET-UG qualified (mandatory since 2018 for Indian students going abroad).
- Valid NEET scorecard for the current academic year.
- GPA Requirements (as per Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council – BMDC):
- Minimum GPA of 7.0 combined in SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) or equivalent.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 in Biology in HSC.
- Year of Passing:
- Should have passed Class 12 within the last 2 years (some colleges allow up to 3 years with conditions).
- Medium of Study:
- Must be willing to study in English (medium of instruction in Bangladeshi medical colleges is English).
- Documentation:
- Valid passport.
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets.
- NEET Scorecard.
- Equivalence certificate from Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangladesh.
- No objection certificate (NOC) from Ministry of Education / MCI / NMC (India).
