Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Bangladesh (for Indian Students)

  1. Nationality:
    • Must be a citizen of India.
  2. Age Requirement:
    • Must be at least 17 years old by 31st December of the admission year.
  3. Academic Qualifications:
    • Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with:
      • Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as main subjects.
      • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCB (for top colleges); some accept 50%–55%.
    • Must have passed Class 10 and 12 in the same year span without gaps or multiple attempts.
  4. NEET Qualification:
    • NEET-UG qualified (mandatory since 2018 for Indian students going abroad).
    • Valid NEET scorecard for the current academic year.
  5. GPA Requirements (as per Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council – BMDC):
    • Minimum GPA of 7.0 combined in SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) or equivalent.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5 in Biology in HSC.
  6. Year of Passing:
    • Should have passed Class 12 within the last 2 years (some colleges allow up to 3 years with conditions).
  7. Medium of Study:
    • Must be willing to study in English (medium of instruction in Bangladeshi medical colleges is English).
  8. Documentation:
    • Valid passport.
    • Class 10 and 12 marksheets.
    • NEET Scorecard.
    • Equivalence certificate from Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangladesh.
    • No objection certificate (NOC) from Ministry of Education / MCI / NMC (India).
